Hi Jolie, you don’t know me but you seem to be one of the few that seems to get what I was getting at in the TechCrunch post.
Now all these guys are coming to me trying to show how not sexist they are. Links with “all women” engineering teams. A female, minority owned startup won a startup competition here in Austin even though people admitted it was not the most economically viable. That’s not what I want to see. That actually makes it harder for us.
All I was trying to say was “Hold me to do my job well. Just don’t let men prohibit me from doing so simply because I’m female”. Women are just as guilty of the attitude and it drives me nuts.
Anyway, I just want to say thanks for not being weird about it and posting the truth.
